Reinvented charcoal into a typography tool. By using the blackletter type in combination with the charcoal, you'll be able to create typography which communicates strongly. At the same time it's a tool to practice with calligraphy in a fun and interesting way. Inspired by cave paintings, which is the first time charcoal was used as an art medium. Cave paintings are one of the earliest forms of graphic communication. I made use of texts from Lorem Ipsum, to not distract the user from the message they want to bring out themselves. Which also brings me to the title "Scripto Tempus", which is latin for "temporary writing". This because the creations you make with the tool are always temporary, and you can only capture it with a picture. The video is an explanation of how to use the tool. The following images are examples of what you can do with the tool, printed out in riso.
